Abortion is one of the most controversial issues in our country. It's never an easy decision for a pregnant client to pursue abortion, even if your judgment tells you otherwise. Beyond merely desiring an abortion due to psychosocial or financial constraints (or if the pregnancy was the result of a rape), there are a variety of true medical reasons that may present a desire or need for 1st or 2nd trimester abortion.
