In this week’s episode we talked to fellow runner Angela Pohl. Angela Pohl has been running since age 38 and created an instagram to share her running journey including any bumps on the road, which includes her fairly recent stage 3b breast cancer diagnosis. Angela talks to us about said diagnosis, how she was diagnosed, the type of cancer she has, her prognosis, and what effect this illness and treatment has on her daily life and running - because of course, she still runs. Using running analogies, Angela explains her mindset, talks about her current training for the Indianapolis Marathon in November, and shares her hopes of what going through this “injury experience” can do for her in the future. She is nothing but an inspiration and you don’t wanna miss this episode.
