Dr. Michael (Mike) Ragan is a native of the Dallas area and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School and Bishop Lynch High School. He met his high school sweetheart and wife, Cindy at BL. He received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University where he was a baseball letterman for the Bears.
Doctor Ragan attended Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with honors. He received his post-graduate training in orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, serving as chief resident. Doctor Ragan is a guest lecturer as well as the past Alumni president at Nova.
Doctor Ragan is a member of Baylor's Odontological Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, Greater Dallas Orthodontists Association, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.
Doctor Ragan and his wife Cindy were married in 1994. Cindy is a teacher of a four-year-old pre-kindergarten class at the Episcopal School of Dallas. They have two beautiful daughters, Abby and Caroline. Ragan enjoys sports of all kinds including hunting, fishing, softball, soccer, and running. He currently serves as the Athletic Department Dentist at the Episcopal School of Dallas and is a proponent of mouthguards for all ages, sports, and levels of competition.
