Sir Tom Hunter is a Scottish businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. From the back of a van he founded Sports Division which he sold to JJB for £290m when it became Europe's largest retailer. Alongside his wife Lady Hunter he is the founder of The Hunter Foundation. 

He is huge driver for Entrepreneurialism in Scotland so much so  The University of Strathclyde have named their Entrepreneurship Faculty after him. He is a recipient of the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy.

Tom became Scotland’s richest man and first billionaire. However, Sir Tom asked to be removed from the Sunday Time’s Rich List as he aims to give most of his wealth away.
