Undoubtedly, most yoga teachers are actually teaching only a tiny part of yoga i.e, the physical practice of yoga called asanas in modern times.
But there is a lot of confusion in the world of asana because sequencing yoga poses in an effective, cohesive, and logical manner leads to a direct favorable outcome on the student's body, breath and mind not only on that given day but also acts as an investment in the practice is a skill that most yoga teachers struggle with.
Moreso, if you've only learned how to "vinyasa" your way through yoga. This has caused more problems than solutions but most yoga teachers are yet to realize this.
