Dr. Bill Piskorowski is the associate Dean for community based clinical education at UCLA. He has been a licensed Dentist since 1979 and has 43 years of experience in the industry. 

 

He’s developed a program that helps to get dental students more hands on learning by working directly with DSOs. If you use students solely to enhance productivity you’ll lose. However, if you teach them, you’ll win. Students are about 70% as productive as doctors, but 20% of the cost.

 

He talks about the importance of building relationships and how DSOs have are changing the way dental schools are operating.
