Are you suffering from a desire you have but you aren’t making progress toward? Are you clear on why you want it? Why you REALLY want it. The truth is, most people are not. They have a list of wants and desires they think they should want and maybe actually do to a degree, but they don’t have a clear picture in mind of what the actual payoff really is. If you press in to clarity on what and why you want something, you will either gain clarity and get true motivation, or you may realize you don’t want it enough, which is not always a bad thing, as you’ll hear in this show. The idea came from Hal Elrod, our guest in show 707, where we talked about his new book, “Miracle Equation”, which was a message geared toward helping people take action on the things that inspired them. From this I posted this question to the Ziglar listening audience, “What is a desire you have...that you are struggling to take action towards? What do you think might help your motivation?” We received responses from people who wanted to find a fitting career they believed in, make more money, write a book, and pursue their physical fitness. A surprising majority shared side businesses and business ideas they really wanted to pursue but were feeling stalled out. I asked Michelle Prince to join me and talk through the comments. This show should be convicting and freeing. Quite possibly both!
