Tom Kelly 8K Sunday 14th January 9.30am start

St Brendan’s AC will host the Tom Kelly 8K on Sunday 14th January 2024 in memory of one of St Brendan’s AC founding members, Tom Kelly. This is the third year of this event. Tom was coach and club dynamo for the first 10 years and inspired both adults and juveniles with his exemplary work over the years. This race has now become an annual event in Tom's memory. We look forward to welcoming you all to Ardfert again this year for this event. It is always a great day and walkers and runners are welcome.

Clonakilty 5 mile: - 10am - Sunday, January 28, 2024 - Clonakilty Park Hotel

The Clonakilty 5Mile Run in aid of Cancer Connect & Irish Red Cross,  will be a new welcome addition to the Cork running calendar in 2024 and will be held for the 1st time ever on the 28th of January 2024.

The run/walk will commence in the Clonakilty Park Hotel, taking the runners down the idyllic Inchydoney Road and over the first Causeway, past the Clogheen Cottages and back to the Clonakilty Park Hotel for finish line refreshments with proceeds going to both Cancer Connect & Irish Red Cross. Runners & Walkers all welcome.

Kinsale 10 mile takes place on Sunday Feb 25th 2024 at 12pm

Event Description:

Kinsale 10 Mile road race.

Hosted by: Riverstick Kinsale Athletic Club & Kinsale Community School.

The race is set in the beautiful surrounds of Kinsale on a course with real potential for PBs with a fast final 5 mile net downhill section.

We have had some great feedback from our races in 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023 and hope to make the event even better for 2024. 

​We would be delighted if you could join us again in 2024 and come to enjoy all the hospitaliy that Kinsale has to offer.

Killarney Valley 5 mile: March 29th @6pm

Killarney Valley Athletic Club are delighted to present Munster’s newest 5-mile road race in Killarney on Good Friday (March 29th) 2024 at 6pm.

This race will start and finish in Killarney town centre.

The entry fee includes a race t-shirt and postage of race number, up until March 21st 2024. For entries after this date, number and t-shirt must be collected on the day of the event.

- Cash prizes for the first three male and female finishers, as well as prizes for wheelchair athletes and visually impaired athletes. There will also be age category prizes and a company/business participation prize.
