He discusses his journey in the industry, starting from being broke and using a moped for transportation, to eventually building a successful team and brokerage. Devin emphasizes the importance of follow-up and nurturing leads, rather than just focusing on new leads. He suggests spending about 45 minutes each morning on outbound lead generation and then nurturing the motivated leads with valuable content. He also recommends front-loading the follow-up by providing three pieces of valuable content in the first three days of contact. Devin advises agents to do their homework and be prepared for listing appointments, showing that they have put in the time and effort. He emphasizes the importance of sticking to the fundamentals and staying consistent in order to succeed in the real estate business.
