Chris and Sam sat down with Marc Surdyka, one of E3 Rehab's co-founders and co-owners, and physical therapist based out of Los Angeles, California. We dive into Marc's story surrounding his hip replacement at the age of 19. We discuss Marc's initial diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the onset of avascular necrosis and eventual decision for the total hip replacement, his experience the months following the surgery, his reflections on the past 14 years since the surgery and managing training and life, and finally, recommendations for individuals considering a hip replacement or for those already going through the rehab process.
