Brenton Sanderson spent almost three decades as a professional athlete and coach. Now, he’s neither. He played AFL footy for Adelaide, Collingwood and Geelong (209 games), won a B & F with Geelong, was an assistant coach at Port Adelaide, Geelong and Collingwood, was the senior coach of the Adelaide Football Club (2012 – 2014), won the NAB Cup in 2012 and was sacked with the second highest winning percentage of all Adelaide Coaches. This was a great chat with Sando and we covered everything from footy, business, coaching, tough crowds (as a speaker) and life beyond sport (for athletes and coaches) to mental health, mindset, blokes being vulnerable, the changing culture of footy, asking for help, his personal battles when he was sacked from the Crows, his current gig and lots more. Enjoy.
