Y'all, I did it. I elevated my quiet time and I published my own prayer journal!
Throne of Grace is a guided prayer journal intended to help you each day as you talk to God and wrestle with your own heart.

I love the idea of a prayer journal but blank lined pages always intimidated me, this journal has four boxes to fill in with your words each day and organize the chaos of your mind.

Today, we explore the grief and loss of a loved one. We will also talk about how to comfort others in times of grief and loss. Jesus Wept, is the shortest scripture in the Bible. However, it's so much more than a simple scripture of two word. Jesus mourning the loss of his friend Lazarus teaches how truly fully man and fully God, Jesus was on earth. He was not only theSon of God who would raise Lazarus from the dead, but also cry openly over the loss of a loved one.
It's okay not to be okay.
In fact, crying is good.
Let's talk about how to grieve and comfort those in their time of need.

Today, we are going to meditate on Psalm 23 together. Let's relieve our stress and anxiety by meditating on God's Word.
Allow each verse to sink into your mind and take a moment to ponder the words.
I believe that whenever we spend time with the Lord is an opportunity for Him to speak to us, we just have to be willing to listen.
Even if all He wants to tell you is that He loves you; that is more than enough to fill your cup so you can pour out His love to others.
Before we begin take this moment to open your heart to the Lord, if you are willing you can even speak the words aloud, “Here I am, Lord, speak to me.”
