071: Helen Monument inspires and encourages Assistants to be the best they can be, by sharing over three decades of experience as a management support professional. Helen has worked at international companies in many roles, from Secretary to Office Manager and Business Support Team Leader, so she understands the profession inside out. She is also an honorary member of IMA, The Netherlands and a former Executive Chair of IMA (International Management Assistants).
Helen is also the Chair of the World Administrators Alliance, a trade association representing Administrative Associations, Networks and industry stakeholders across the globe. Its aims are to guide, influence, positively develop and elevate the global administrative community.
At her company Monumental Assistance Helen provides Training, Coaching and Mentoring to assistants at all levels. She is passionate about giving back to the profession that created so many wonderful opportunities for her to grow and develop by ‘paying it forward’ all over the world by helping others to become Monumental Assistants.
Helen holds the Professional Certificate of Management from the Open University Business School and the Diploma Academic Counsellor & Coach from the Academy of Counselling & Coaching in The Hague.
Helen has many more stories to share and I am so glad she is my guest in this episode. I know her for many years and we first connected through our common network IMA - International Management Assistants.
