During these difficult times that we are all going through while dealing with a pandemic, I have been receiving many calls of women suffering from an increase in acne and urinary tract infections.
Many of us are opting for unhealthy foods, adding more carbs and alcohol to our diets, and these are shifting the microbiome in the gut as well as increasing the inflammation in our bodies.
The possible increase in the amount of sex people are having as a result of spending more time at home, is also a factor that can be contributing to women having more UTIs, bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections.
When it comes to UTI, I recommend D-Mannose and a protocol which is called UTI Clear which comes in tincture form and is a urinary tract antiseptic, a diuretic and a liver tonic. There is also a product called Horse Tail which is an anti-infective herb that helps to tone the walls of your bladder and another called Marshmallow that helps you soothe the urinary tract. All these aids for your health come from Saint Francis Herb Farm who offers amazing certified organic products. Create a more simple life with Saint Francis Herb Farm products, you can order through Pure Feast, use the promo code JENNPIKE and save 10% off all of your purchases.
Regarding acne, there are so many women who are afraid of applying oil-based products to their skin, but the truth is that an oil-based product can help to calm the skin down. I use a product called Light by Skin Essence Organicswhich is specifically formulated for those who have oily skin, providing light hydration and healing the skin with its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
