This week we are bringing you the 5th episode in our Recruit Reflection series and we are so excited to be joined by Lucie Kirchner who is a 3x National Qualifier and 2022 Nastia Cup Qualifier who trains at JPAC in Indiana. Lucie joins us to talk about her recruiting journey, which looked a little bit different from other gymnasts because she received and accepted a scholarship offer from her dream school before the date that official visits could even take place. Lucie was one of the first gymnasts in the class of 2024 to announce her commitment and very recently signed her national letter of intent to the University of Michigan!

This episode officially kicks off our 2024 NCAA season previews as well as our new segment, Coaches Corner where we sit down with the head coach of some of the top NCAA teams in the country to chat about the upcoming season. We’re excited to be kicking things off with Bev Plocki, who is the head coach at the University of Michigan and is heading into her 35th season with the Wolverines. Under her tenure she has led the Wolverines to 27 Big Ten titles and the program's first ever NCAA title back in 2021. We sat down with Bev last week to talk about the potential of her team this season and who you can watch for. Plus we also talk about NIL, UCLA and Washington joining the Big Ten and more!

This week we’re back with the second episode in our Recruit Reflections series and we’re super excited to be joined by Lexi Zeiss. Lexi was the alternate for the 2022 World Championships team as well as the 2023 Winter Cup All-Around Champion. Lexi had a really unique recruiting experience since she was recruiting in the midst of her elite season. After only taking one other official visit, which you’ll hear about in this episode, Lexi ultimately ended up committing to LSU and is set to sign with the Tigers very soon. We’re thankful that Lexi reached out wanting to share her recruiting process and we hope you all can learn a few things from her!

We kick off the first episode in our Recruit Reflections series with one of the top recruits in the 2025 class, Mackenzie Estep! Mackenzie trains at Ascend Gymnastics in Washington and is the 2023 Level 10 National Champion on beam, floor, and in the all-around as well as being a 3x Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier! Mackenzie recently committed to the University of Oklahoma on a full athletic scholarship after taking visits to Utah, Florida, and LSU. This week we are excited to be joined by Panama’s newest Olympian Hillary Heron who was gracious enough to hop on a call with us while still in Antwerp after a very successful World Championships where she became the first gymnast (not named Simone Biles of course!) to compete one of the Biles elements at a World Championships. She also punched her ticket to the Paris 2024 Olympics and is riding a high as she gears up for next week’s Pan American Games.
