After struggling a week ago, the Texas Longhorns returned to their winning ways on both diamonds. The baseball team used some come-from-behind dramatics to take care of business against the Kansas State Wildcats, before splitting a midweek series against the Texas State Bobcats. The softball team took themselves to Ames and returned to Austin after sweeping the Iowa State Cyclones to get back in the win column in Big 12 play.

Outside of the diamond, the women's golf team managed to put together an impressive weekend and came away with a Big 12 Match Play Championship, while men's tennis came back from Waco with a win over a ranked Baylor Bears squad.
