After a long offseason, the week is finally upon us -- the Texas Longhorns will take the field for the 2024 season.
They open the season on a hot Saturday against the Jay Norvell and the Colorado State Rams, a team that was a few one-score games away from a winning record a year ago. They return the top two threats from a passing game that embraces the classic Air Raid thanks to offensive coordinator Matt Mumme, son of the legendary Hal Mumme.
