Bad Queers

Honestly breeders, straight tv/movies/media is to blame for our queerness. Rest in power to Monica Roberts, a genuine shoutout to Pete Buttigieg and Bill Burr's SNL skit was actually hilarious. Also, fake girlfriends, wives who are fuckboi's and giving phone numbers to straight men.

Shoutouts This Week:
Shana - Sue Bird for her fourth WNBA Championship

Kris - Lebron James for his fourth NBA Championship

This week we had Imara Jones from Translash Media join us, and believe us when we tell you she dropped GEMS on us! So many that we couldn't even choose a title that was worthy. We explored how cis women need to do better when it comes to the trans community, blocking our blessings and the all black lives matter movement. And that is just a sprinkle of what you will get from this weeks podcast.

Mara Brock Akil and Girlfriends get their flowers- while Kris asks the universe (specifically Mara Brock Akil and Lena Waithe) to make a Girlfriends for us black queer womxn. Btw- the songs we were referring to are Q.U.E.E.N. ft. Erykah Badu and Electric Lady ft. Solange off her 2013 album "The Electric Lady".

This week we are joined by the amazing hosts of Gayish Podcast, Mike and Kyle, to continue our discussion about intersectionality. We did this with a slight twist, by asking questions that Shana and Kris typically receive as black, queer women and flipping it to ask white, gay men. Spoiler alert: we had a blast.
