Previously, he was a partner with JPMorgan Partners (JPMP), the private equity arm of JP Morgan Chase. He joined JP Morgan from Flat Iron Partners, which he launched in 1996 with his partner Fred Wilson, and Flat Iron became one of the most successful early-stage investment programs in the New York City area.
