This year was one for the books. I grew in big ways both professionally and personally, by intentionally putting myself through challenging situations.
Some of those moments that stood out to me were my international girlfriends to Colombia, getting engaged, speaking on stage at the EmpowerHER event, growing my coaching business and really stepping into motherhood.
Each event brought a new perspective and lesson. DM me on IG and let me know your biggest lessons this year.

I don't know about you, but my introduction to motherhood was fairly brutal. I wasn't prepared for all of society's expectations of what it meant to be a mother. The messages I was receiving was to become a stay at home mom, give up on my dreams and do it all with ease. However, that didn't work for me. Neither did it for this week's guest, Beth Levine.
Beth shares how she one day had a revelation in spin class, that the stay at home mom life wasn't for her. Coming from the corporate world, she knew she didn't want to go back there, so she did what was on her heart and started her coaching business. Not only did her business, SmartMouth, become wildly successful, but she also wrote a book and has been featured in the world's most respected publications.

It can be so confusing to be a woman these days. We are asked to be strong and do so much, yet not too strong. We are asked to be nurturing and soft, yet not too soft. What the f*ck do they want from us?
This is where I was 3.5 years ago. Stuck at a crossroads between who everyone expected me to be and who I was dying to become. I had to make a choice, because the stuck feeling was killing me. And so, I took that first step on the journey to empowerment. I haven't looked back sense.
In today's episode I tell you how I define empowerment, both as an empowered woman and empowerment coach. I'll give you a hint, it's probably not what you're expecting me to define it as.

I recently heard a phrase, "cool girls don't drink anymore." This week's guest, author and coach, Kay Allison, would absolutely agree!
Over the past year, I've been exploring my own relationship with alcohol, so I thought it would be excellent to talk to an expert, like Kay, to get some answers. And, as expected, she delivered!
The sober curious movement, has taken the social media world by storm. If you're new to the term, sober curious, it's usually defined as having the option to choose or change your drinking habits for health reasons (mental and physical). The movement encourages people to recognize the unhealthy habits associated with drinking.
Through Kay's own personal sobriety journey, over 20 years sober and working with thousands of women, Kay is able to speak with passion and confidence about how we can take the first step towards living our very own JUICY AF Life!

If you're anything like me, you take a lot of pride in being a strong woman and having the ablity to "do it all" with style.
But, that could also be the very thing that's holding you back from getting the SUPPORT or GUIDANCE you REALLY NEED to grow and expand into your best self.
This week I'm going to you live from my home state of Texas, visiting my sister and my new baby nephew. Being home for the holidays, always provokes memories from my childhood as well as be in awe at how fast the time has gone.

Have you heard that saying, "jack of all trades, master of none"?
This week's guest, Jess Amburgey calls BS on that. Jess is a multi-preneur that encourages a life of ease and enjoyment. She's a self-employed photographer, social media manager, and multi-passion business coach.
Her mission is to uplift fellow "multi-minds" with monetizing their multi-passions, showing up confidently online, and breaking down money barriers - giving them the freedom to do more of what they love.

It's that time of year again…Halloween is over and the holidays are in full swing. Which for many means additional stress, commitments, judgment and chaos. If that sounds like you, you're far from alone.
Three years ago I was introduced to an end of year challenge, which I had never heard of before. Up until that point it was only New Year's resolutions. However the idea of that challenge was to show up for yourself and start the next year as your best self, instead of run down and exhausted.
I was inspired to start my own version of that this year for The BEAM Life community, called Stop the Holiday Spiral. It's FREE to join: https://www.thebeamlife.com/stoptheholidayspiral

In a world where we are conditioned to see the glass as half-empty, it can be difficult to start on the path of forgiveness and healing. However, this week's guest, Psychotherapist Nicole Sartini, is helping to change that narrative.
Through her own personal work and thousands of therapy hours of working with clients, Nicole is able to speak with passion and confidence about how we can begin to make this shift.

This past week, I had the privilege of attending the Empowerher LIVE event, in Phoenix, AZ. Attending personal development events like that are a great reminder that who and what you surround yourself with, matters.
I was deeply inspired by all of the speakers, and a I share a few of the takeaways in today's episode. One in particular was about vision. And, WOW, do I wish I knew this when I was starting from nothing after a divorce just three years ago.
I hope you enjoy this mini episode!
