How easy is it to get an individual to go along with group consensus, even when it is clearly incorrect? Far easier than most people realize, as it turns out. The good news is, if you're aware of how the manipulation occurs, through a process called 'pluralistic ignorance', you're much more likely to avoid the fatal flaw of following along with something you know isn't right.
