Beyond The Pitch is covering the ICC from coast to coast. While Phil and Martin are covering Manchester United, Juan Arango
is covering Paris-St. Germain in their headquarters in Miami.
Juan had the opportunity to speak to PSG goalkeeper and German international Kevin Trapp. Trapp is the starting goalkeeper for the PSG and was part of the German side that won the Confederations Cup this past summer in Russia. Going into his third season
as starter, he feels extremely positive about the season because
of their ability to learn from last years lessons and also their second half of the season after their loss
to FC Barcelona in the Champions League. He talks about the lessons learned and the adjustments that needed to be made in Year 2 of
the Unai Emery era in Paris. Trapp also looks forward
to the upcoming season and the challenge they will give reigning Ligue 1 champs Monaco. He also is aware that there
are other teams like Olympique Marseille, Lille and St. Etienne that will have a say on where the title goes. Also about the challenge
he will have to be ready for Russia and the World Cup next year.
Special thanks to Paris- St. Germain for the hospitality.
