When you hear the word “graveyard”, usually we think of either those we have lost or that terrifying movie that we know we shouldn’t have watched, but we did anyway and now we can’t fall asleep anymore. Whether it’s one or the other, we usually don’t consider graveyards to be an excellent place for service opportunities to learn more about our ancestors. That idea is what inspired the creation of BillionGraves, an online service that gives users the opportunity to take pictures of headstones and upload them online to help people locate where their family members were buried.
