Hey friends, this one is a special one! We collaborated with Melbourne Fashion Festival this year to host a talk exploring culture, creativity and what breaking barriers in the fashion industry look like. We had the pleasure of speaking to international model, Malaan Ajang & creative director/stylist, Karinda Mutabazi, two dynamic creators that have really made a name for themselves in the fashion industry and in Australia.
We touched on how these ladies got into the industry, the challenges they faced including; lack of experience & fetishism, how they overcame these challenges and what the future of fashion looks like in Australia and across the globe. If you’re interested in fashion, a creative trying to learn more about how you can create opportunities or you just want to hear a lit conversation, be sure to tap in as our panellists shared top-notch stories and advice.
Audience’s questions:
Question 1: Do you feel like the industry fetishises your look? (directed at Malaan)
Question 2: Is there a quote you live by (a life mantra)?

This week's episode was inspired by the Netflix series “Love, Sex and Goop”, the show is all about erotic blueprints, love, communication and sex. Which got us thinking, in today's era of sex positivity, how many of us are actually having good sex? And how many of us know how to really connect with our partners/casual flings or situationships? Sex is supposed to be enjoyable for everyone but we are never really taught the basics.
We also touch on the Joe Rogan drama, medical misinformation and cancelling problematic voices.

This week we start off with some wholesome content, Rihanna is pregnant and we are defiantly here for it! We then delve into men and their toxic podcasts. Starting with our thoughts on the idea of a ‘high-value man’, does this notion cause more harm than good? We also discuss the comments recently made about black women made on the podcast Fresh & Fit. Are men saying absurd and disrespectful comments for clickbait and if so how much of your self-respect are you willing to sacrifice for clout? Is the red pill community ruining the concept of a 'healthy' relationship? All this a more in this weeks episode.

For this weeks episode, we touch on a few different topics. The conversation kicks off with our take on the Drake drama surfacing social media, was he out of pocket for putting hot sauce in the condom? We then go into influencer Molly-Mae Hagues comment on a podcast featured on, stating that "we all have the same 24 hours as Beyonce"...but we don't have that lifestyle sis! Was her comment problematic, privileged, ignorant? Or was the backlash and attempt to 'cancel Molly-Mae excessive? Finally, we get into influencer culture, delving into some of the pros and cons.

This week we are discussing body image, diet culture and how challenging it can be to embrace radical self-love. We live in a world that tells us constantly our bodies are something that needs to be ‘fixed’ or are a problem to be ‘solved'. We also have set ourselves crazy and unrealistic standards of what the 'perfect' body should look like. We will be delving into how harmful these narratives are, as well as our one experiences in the episode.
