I’ll dive into how these practices have supported me, why some worked better than others, and how you can adapt them to craft your own meaningful start to 2025. Let’s ease into the new year with a sense of alignment, joy, and purpose. 🌸

Hey Bliss'ners! In episode 34, I dive into the transformative power of intention, inspired by a profound conversation with my dear friend and psychotherapist, Dr. Betsy Guerra. We explore how setting intentions can shift your experience of life, even amidst chaos. Betsy shares a deeply personal story about turning a rushed and emotional trip into a meaningful and joyful experience by simply deciding to be present.
We also discuss the difference between goals and intentions, the liberating power of removing distractions, and how intention connects us to our divine selves. Plus, I reflect on the importance of sharing energy and wisdom from the incredible people in my life—including you, my Bliss'ners! This episode is packed with insights to help you embrace the holidays (and beyond) with purpose and presence. 💫

Are you feeling the December rush—overwhelmed, panicky, and like there’s just not enough time? Same here. In this episode, I share how I caught myself falling into the trap of “all-or-nothing” thinking, feeling like every single task had to be done yesterday. But guess what? Bliss isn’t waiting for the perfect snowy vacation or the quiet moment—it’s right here, in the mess and busyness of everyday life.
I reflect on how to reclaim your peace and intentionality during the busiest season, from shifting your mindset to embracing thoughts that calm your energy. I dive into principles like Parkinson’s Law and festina lente (“make haste slowly”) to help you focus on what truly matters. Plus, I share how a sunrise walk with friends reminded me to prioritize joy, even when the to-do list feels endless. Let’s tackle the season with intention, step by step, and uncover the magic hidden in plain sight.

Hey Bliss'ners! This episode is incredibly special as I celebrate my 45th birthday—a day that feels like divine synchronicity since it falls on a Sunday, the day my podcast airs. Birthdays are more than just milestones; they’re opportunities to honor the miracle of our existence and the breadcrumbs of wisdom life leaves us along the way. I reflect on the profound odds of being born (400 trillion to one!), share the lessons from my mentor, the extraordinary Susan Ford Collins—who also celebrates her 85th birthday today—and explore the wisdom I’d impart to my younger self, represented by my wonderful assistant's vibrant 7-year-old Marie, who also shares this birthday. Together, we look at the past, embrace the present, and chart the path to a future filled with purpose, resilience, and gratitude. This is an episode to bookmark and revisit on your own birthday or to share with someone special as a reminder of life’s magic and your unique place in it.

Happy Sacred Sunday, blissiners! It’s episode 31 of Bliss'n Up!
Today is a super special Sacred Sunday because it's December 1st, and there's something magical about the first of the month landing on a Sunday. We get to set our intentions not just for the week, but for the entire month, and it's truly a powerful way to kick things off.
This practice allows us to be intentional and align our energies with our goals and desires.
I am also sharing the significance of living in tune with the seasons. Inspired by my friend Michelle Villalobos, I explore how different times of the year call for different energies and focus.

While we’re stepping into the winter season—a time traditionally associated with stillness, dreaming, and receptivity—there's also room for bold action depending on our unique circumstances and environments.
This December, I invite you all to embrace the spirit of being daring and bold in our lives. Let’s dream big, take action, and truly enjoy the last month of this year. I’m so excited about this theme and can't wait to embark on this journey with you.

Today’s episode dives into November’s theme, Nesting November, and explores the metaphor of the nest as it relates to our lives.
I discovered three key elements to have a good nest:
Size.
Strength.
Softness.
Together, we’ll unpack how to apply these principles so that you may create a nest that supports your life.
On this sacred Sunday, with Thanksgiving just around the corner, I’m reflecting on the beauty of a holiday that encourages us to gather and give thanks for what we have, where we are, and how far we’ve come.
Today I'd like to give thanks to you for listening to this podcast and for being a part of my community.

This Sacred Sunday I’m opening up about those moments when life feels overwhelming—when fear, uncertainty, and high emotions take over. You know the ones: whether it’s a personal crisis or the collective tension (like election season), it’s hard to find your footing. I’m sharing three principles that have personally helped me through those “hold-your-breath” times. These aren’t just tips; they’re tools I’ve leaned on to feel more grounded, clear, and in control. If you’re craving a way to steady yourself and move forward with purpose, this one’s for you. Let’s work through it together.

Today, I'm diving into the story behind one of my personal traditions—Sacred Sunday. Ever had a habit, nickname, or tradition that’s become so ingrained you assume everyone knows its meaning? Well, it hit me recently when a friend asked why I call Sundays “sacred.” I realized I’d never really explained it, so here we are!

Today, I’m diving into one of my favorite life practices: setting monthly intentions. At the start of each month, I take time to reflect on the past month and establish a theme or "North Star" for the new one. This practice has been transformative for me and my clients, helping us live with more focus and mindfulness.
Last month’s theme, "Close the Loop October," was about tying up loose ends in a practical sense—but it also surprised me by revealing emotional and identity loops that needed closure. It reminded me that closing loops isn’t just about productivity; it's about letting go of identities that no longer serve us. This month, I’m moving into "Nesting November." Like birds preparing a safe, cozy place for growth, I'm focusing on nurturing connections and creating foundations in my life—from family time to finances and business planning. Join me as we reflect, set intentions, and prepare for 2025 with purpose and care.

Today, I open up about one of those days we all dread—the kind where everything just seems to go wrong. I share my experience of being caught in a nasty negative energy loop, where every moment felt like it was piling onto the last. We’ve all been there, right? So, I take you through how I managed to shift that energy and break free from the spiral. It’s about finding ways to prevent that negativity from spreading and, ultimately, not letting a bad day take over. Join me as I explore practical ways to regain control over our moods and rediscover that bliss—even when the day feels anything but blissful."
