When what used to work stops working, or even gets worse, it’s often a sign that you are trying to survive, cope, or coast in a world that you have already outgrown. 

The breakup, breakdown, or failure is revealing an old story or belief system that you must let go of, in order to embrace the larger possibility that is trying to emerge. Put another way, life is trying to evolve in you, but you are resisting it to stay safe, comfortable, or in control. The problem is, life will not be stopped, even if it has to tear your life down to break free!
