Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! 

A road construction crew accidentally unearths a hidden cave. This seems to be happening an awful lot this season. Local undercover agents discover strange readings coming from the cave and immediately contact the Foundation leadership.

Leadership, in its infinite wisdom, decide to send 3 sub-contractors into this cave to investigate. Who are these investigators? Military? Archeologists? Seasoned explorers? Of course not. They’re a bunch of hobos from some random subway that Dr. Franklinstein knows.

Upon entering into the cave, it is quickly apparent that these individuals are out of their depth. The cave is a doorway to another dimension. One that looks like theirs in almost every way except for one important detail. Everything is dead.

Who are these “experts”? What sort of equipment will they take on this important mission? Is EVERYTHING dead in this other world? What caused this catastrophe? Why are people huffing gasoline? Tune in and find out!

A trio of archeologists are searching the Middle East for a long lost tomb. Following the carefully laid out clues, they find the hidden location. After digging deep, they find a secret entrance.

Within the tomb, there are multiple pictographs depicting a long lost civilization interacting with some strange device. Living within the device appears to be some sort of entity. But as the story goes a long, something seems off.

Delving deeper, they find a lost treasure. A lamp! A desk lamp to be precise.

How was a desk lamp residing in an ancient civilization? Who resides in the lamp? Does it grant wishes? What sort of camel sacrificial magic is used to locate hidden tombs? Tune in and find out!

A family of 3 is visiting Yosemite. There seems to be some tension in the family. The father is overly strict. The mother is an alcoholic. And the child is an absolutely obnoxious wuss.

Nothing that a week long hike in one of the greatest national parks can’t fix!

This trip is going to mend the broken marriage, and teach the boy how to survive, while also not being such a whiner.

However, after only a few days into the trip, the plan falls apart. Without food, and having a few days to hike back to the car, they must rely on nature itself to survive.

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! 

The Russians have contacted the SCP Foundation again. Since joining the Foundation, they certainly need a lot of help. Especially since Stalin died. But, when he died, certain secrets came to life.

One particularly well kept secret was that Stalin had recovered a certain dictator’s body in Germany. Not only did he recover it, but he used occult resources and magic in efforts to bring him back to life, so he could cause him pain.

However, he was a little too successful and brought back a now unkillable individual, but with a heightened sense of pain. This was very cathartic for him.

But, the dictator’s former comrades came to rescue him, and now he’s on the loose. It is the job of the SCP Foundation to quickly find and apprehend this individual and determine if there is a way to kill him.

Who is this mysterious dictator? Where was he taken? Can they get him back? How will the Foundation deal with this ongoing threat? Tune in and find out!

A small town in Kansas has gone completely silent. I mean, who can really say for how long? It’s Kansas, do they even have fire yet? Even still, the Foundation has been trying to get in touch with the town with no luck. Even a fly over garners no results. 

Their best bet is to send in a team to see what’s going on. This needs to be done quickly and quietly. If the country has been invaded, then we need to find out without alerting the enemy. If it’s some sort of disease, then we want to make sure we keep the casualties as low as possible.

A group of backpackers decides to explore the mountains of Spain. They get a professional to help them explore a fairly simple mountain path. 

The trail up the mountain is fairly standard, however, an unforeseen earthquake, which is very odd for the region, causes a rockslide. This rockslide exposes an unexplored cave. With a sudden storm looming overhead, the group enters the cave and finds something far more dangerous inside.

The Foundation has been trying to figure out a way to keep these anomalies a secret. Mostly they’ve either been locking up witnesses, using them for experiments, or just having them “taken care of.”

They’ve received reports of a gargantuan creature residing in the Indian Ocean. A sub lost contact after appearing to spot something deep below the waves. The foundation dispatches a sub filled with “qualified personnel.”

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! 

The SCP Foundation continues to take form! Before the next investigation, some members of the foundation are concerned that there is a lack of ethics. Mostly because of sicking a serial killer cannibal on innocent people for seemingly no reason. It is decided that there needs to be an ethics committee to ensure actions like that don’t happen again!

However, just outside of Chicago there are reports of children murdering their families, mutilating the bodies, and in some cases eating them.

The foundation, as always, sends a crack team of investigators to see what’s going on. As the investigation goes on, it seems the children may not be anomalous, but something else in their lives is. 

Who should be on the ethics committee? What is causing children to horrifically murder their families? Is there any way to stop it? What does a conflict of interest actually mean?
