The hour starts with Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network joining the show to share his insight on the different scenarios for the Seahawks draft with the NFL Draft just a day away. Will they trade up? Trade back? Stay put? Who will they take? He discusses all of it. Then, Brock does his final draft profiles in which he goes through the best of the rest, highlighting all of the intriguing players that didn't make his Top 15 list.
Brock and Salk dive in on the mariners drastic splits so far at home and on the road this season and discuss how much of a narrative it could be this season. They then circle through all of the NFL Draft buzz across the league with the draft just a day away and how it could effect the Seahawks. In Blue 88, topics include a Seahawks draft rumor, who another outside the box pick would be for the Seahawks and takeaways from the Seahawks first voluntary workouts.
Salk starts the show by answering a few fan submitted texts, along with continuing to be confused as to why the national football media wants the Seahawks to draft a wide receiver in the first round.
Brock and Salk discuss Joel Klatt giving Brock a different perspective on the Tetairoa McMillan hype and John Schneider's comments the the discussion on their O-line needs is a lazy narrative. Plus, Kraken voice John Forslund joins us to discuss the front office and coaching moves made yesterday.
Brock goes through the number one player on his list of NFL Draft profiles in North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel. Afterwards, Jeff Passan joins the show for his weekly visit to discuss the success of Cal Raleigh, the struggles of Julio Rodriguez and more.
Brock and Salk go back and forth about John Schneider's comments regarding how the Seahawks struggles to upgrade the offensive line is a lazy narrative. They then welcome on Joel Klatt of FOX Sports to get his insight on what he believes the Seahawks need in this year's NFL Draft and whuich players he believes is a good fit for them. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at who jumps out in Daniel jeremiah's Top 150 players for the NFL Draft, who could be a possible trade partner if the Seahawks want to move up for Jalon Walker, and who Cam Ward could be in the NFL.
Salk is fired up to start the show after seeing news of the Kraken promoting Ron Francis while firing Dan Bylsma, along with John Schneider saying their struggles to fix the offensive line is a lazy narrative and Jon Morosi suggesting that Dylan Moore should be hitting leadoff moving forward. Then, they re-air their conversation with Adam Jude of The Seattle Times to discuss the Mariners recent success, Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez and more.
