Everybody was happy to see the Mariners starter Logan Gilbert get deeper into the game, but not happy that they still needed to use their higher-leverage guys ahead of this 4-game Tampa series. We revisit the NFL predictions from the KJ Wright Show.

We react to KJ Wright's hesitance at our idea to go big on Chris Jones and bring him to Seattle. Then, Brock breaks down the Huskies week one win for Washington Wednesday and we talk about what the Mariners can do to get back on course and ensure this doesn't spiral. Plus, Salk and Justin have another Ranked based on....well, they aren't exactly sure what it's based on.

If the M's can find a way into the playoffs, what will they need to do within the bullpen based on the performance recently? Salk hopes this loss is a wake up call. Carrington Harrison (610 Sports KC) joins Brock & Salk to discuss the situation in KC with DT Chris Jones and if there's any possibility of the team moving him before Brock's Blue 88. 

Salk starts the show with the reaction of some of the angry fans after the Mariners blew game 2 vs the Reds on the road and admits his level of concern for Andres Munoz is growing quickly. We revisit the conversation with ESPN's Jeff Passan. 

Brock and Salk react to Jeff Passan's hesitance on giving Teoscar Hernandez a qualifying offer and discuss Ty France's disappointing season at the plate. Then, we discus whether the Seahawks could make a big move like trading for Chiefs DT Chris Jones in order to solidify the D-line. Plus, Justin and Salk have a Ranked themed around Cooper Kupp going to see a "body specialist".

The M's fall in game 1 vs. the Reds and Bryan Woo's velocity was down as he gave up early runs. Salk's isn't concerned about Julio not coming through in two opportunities. Ahead of week 1 in the NFL season we finally see some of the injured Seahawks practicing. We revisit the conversation with M's RHP Justin Topa. 

Brock and Salk discuss how the Mariners should handle bringing Kelenic back into the lineup.
