More About Dave Causer



Dave Causer is the president of Global Educational Concepts, a Southwestern Company. A graduate of Houghton College with a BA in Business Administration in 1974, he started working in the Southwestern Advantage student internship program as a freshman to earn money to finance his education in 1971.  Dave has stayed with the company since that first summer and recruited, trained and managed a 1,000 person sales organization of university students. He became the youngest director in the Southwestern company’s then 125 year history. 



Dave started Global Educational Concepts, an international sponsorship organization, in 2006. Global Educational Concepts is now approaching 2,000 yearly participants. He has personally recruited over 8,000 J1 students from 52 different countries that have participated in the Southwestern Advantage program.



He has served as a school board member of Christ Presbyterian Academy and currently sits as Vice President and a board member of Southwestern Advantage. The Action Catalyst is a weekly podcast hosted by Dustin Hillis, CEO of Southwestern Family of Companies, and Co-Founder of Southwestern Consulting. As a record setting salesman, entrepreneur, and CEO of a multi-business company, Dustin has a wealth of knowledge to share on how to make better use of time to achieve life, sales, and other business goals.
