We are now just a few short days away from kicking off the 2022 NFL season and the boys are fired up!

Also... Penn State, Georgia and Ohio State all took W's this weekend, the US Open has been absolutely electric, the Card Talk group text is alive with fantasy and college football trash talk, Ryan's wifi stinks and it might be the fault of the state of Ohio, Carlos Alcaraz NetPro cards are now sold out, the National announced their locations for the next 3 years, soccer is heating up, Deion Sanders' son is really good and Ryan is playing Lou in fantasy week 1!

College football is back. The NFL is back. US Open Tennis (Serena's last dance) is back. $12.6 million dollars for a single sports card breaks the record for any piece of sports memorabilia ever sold. Mbappe signs with Panini.

All of this is great... but in much bigger Card Talk news: Kellen Mond was CUT by the Vikings while we were recording and Tyler/Lou (and all of social media) realllllly let Ryan have it this episode!

Also, Lou went to a card show in Suffern, NY, Tyler is headed to London, Haaland is on fire, Lou's Leeds took an L, we make our college football picks AND brace yourselves for some really fun plays in this episode's POTW!

The boys are back and Tyler, Lou & Jay are planning a trip to Columbus, Ohio in late September/early October to play some golf, work Ryan's shop and check out the Ohio State vs Rutgers game live!

Also, Manchester United finally won a game, Ryan apologizes for a terrible Kellen Mond take, NetPro dropped their Carlos Alcaraz collection, the Yankees have been awful lately (to Lou's delight), and Ryan likes the idea of picking up a few Manti Te'o cards.

Football is back and the week 1 overreactions are (predictably) in full force!

Malik Willis runs for a touchdown against backups... collectors run to eBay to smash "buy it now" on his cards and Ryan Tannehill's days are numbered. Kellen Mond impresses against the Raiders, his cards spike and it's only a matter of time before Kirk Cousins is sent packing. Gotta love the preseason!

Unless, you're a Jets fan.

Lou and Tyler had heart attacks this weekend as it appeared that Zach Wilson tore his ACL and was out for the season. Fortunately for them, he avoided a major injury and seems likely to be back sooner than later. Fernando Tatis Jr - on the other hand - won't be back any time soon after being popped for PED violation and getting an 80 game suspension, costing himself a huge hit to his legacy and his collectors some serious cash.

NetPro is back just in time for the US Open, and Tyler is fired up about it. The guys wonder who YOU would buy right now for $1000 or less to hold for the next 18 years. We have some fun questions and another fantastic POTW!

The boys are back from Atlantic City after a wildly fun and successful National - and back in the studio for the first time in two weeks!
