The NFL playoffs kicked off this weekend with the Super Wild Card round... Did Justin Herbert cement his "Midbert" status? What effect did Trevor's 27 point comeback have on his cards? What about the rest of the quarterback card market?

Also on this show, we have last weeks POTW winner Jason  @jnncollectors  on to give his insight in the hobby, some Australian Open tennis chatter, the boys discuss their favorite inserts and NFL refs might hate OSU alums according to a certain OSU alum.

Tune in for all of that PLUS another amazing Play of the Week!

The NFL playoff race is heating up, with the Jets in the hunt and the Patriots currently in. How will it all shake out in the final 4 weeks of the season and how will it effect the card market?

Also, Brock Purdy cards are white hot... but are they a wise investment? The fantasy playoffs are set to kick off this week. Tyler/Jay are in. Lou is in. Ryan... not in. Zion Williamson is back and doing unnecessary but awesome 360 jams, Aaron Judge's 62nd home run ball is closing this week at auction, Tyler loves those One Piece Anime cards and we have some fun changes coming in season 4!

However, the star of this show is Play of the Year, a recap of the top 8 plays that were submitted throughout season 3. Which 3 did they narrow it down to for YOU to vote on?!?!

What a difference a week makes... last week when we were in the studio Ryan was heartbroken about OSU's loss to Michigan, but after a wild weekend of college football upsets they are right back in the National Championship picture!

Also, a former Pokemon judge unloaded his entire collection this week for 200k pounds, Aaron Judge's *record breaking 62nd home run ball is headed to auction, the much anticipated Kaboom checklist is out, and it's LARGE, we're right in the middle of hot stove baseball season with some prominent names switching teams and the USMNT got eliminated from the World Cup.

Tune in for all of this PLUS a wild Play of the Week featuring EIGHT amazing plays!

Just a crazy week in sports for the boys, as OSU lost to Michigan, the Jets rolled out their new QB1 and crushed the Bears and the USMNT is currently undefeated at the time of this recording (also winless) with an opportunity to move on vs. Iran. Can they pull off the win and move on to the knockout round?

Also, Topps/Fanatics introduced their MVP buyback program... why is this such a good promotion for both collectors and card shop owners? It's the 10 year anniversary of the first ever Prizm basketball set (2012), Ryan took a trip down memory lane with his photo bucket account, and Absolute football is coming with a fresh new set of Kabooms, but where is the checklist?!

Tune in for all of this PLUS another fantastic Play of the Week!

The World Cup kicked off on Sunday and the USMNT got off to a blazing hot start in the first half, taking a 1-0 and looked to coast against Wales. A late second half goal evened up the score and the end result was a 1-1 tie. Can they compete on Friday against England?

Also, the Jets lost (again) to the Pats... is that the end of the Zach Wilson era? Ryan's favorite QB Kirk Cousins also took an L against the Cowboys, with Tyler's guy Micah Parsons in his face all day. Blake Martinez sold a Pokemon Illustrator 9.5 for $660k and then retired from the NFL. PWCC sold quite a few grails in their Premier Auction including the Luka Logoman, a couple 1/1 Mahomes rookies, the black finite Justin Fields Prizm and more... what did the guys make of the final sale prices?

Tune in for all of this PLUS a couple of questions from our members in the Card Talk Facebook group and another fantastic Play of the Week!

There's a bit of added excitement in the studio as the World Cup is set to kick off and the Jets are heading to Foxboro for a revenge game (two sporting events Ryan likely won't be watching according to Lou.)

Also, Tyler is sick of Cristiano Ronaldo... the Luka NT Logoman previously sold privately for $4.6 million and is currently at $2.3 million at PWCC with just two days left (at the time of recording). What will the final sale price be? Jalen Hurts took his first L of the season, the Vikings and Kirk Cousins continue to win despite Ryan's preseason prediction of a 1-6 start and a Kellen Mond QB1 situation by this time in the season, Lou may have been correct about Josh Allen all along AND Justin Fields looks pretttttty good!

Tyler and Ryan are back from the UK and their wifi is fannnntastic this episode!

Since they were last in the studio, Lou's Astros won the World Series, the Jets beat the Bills and a allegations of serial numbers indicating boxes containing Kabooms are front and center in the hobby.

Tyler and Ryan are both in the UK where they attended the London Card Show and have a full report of what was quite a weekend!

Speaking of the weekend, the Jets lost to the Pats (again) and Penn State lost to Ohio State... so Ryan has been itching to get back in the studio!

Also, Tyler's UK wifi is a mess but he powered through it like the professional podcaster that he is, the Astros are being accused of being cheaters (again), PSA introduced $15 grading, the $4.6 million dollar Luka Doncic Logoman is headed to auction via PWCC,

We also have another fantastic Play of the Week segment!

Tune in for all of that AND MORE!
