    Family Dinners
My family is getting together for dinner on Friday the 28th from 7-9:30 and asked us to come.  It is entirely up to you.  I don't usually attend family functions, but have for the past couple years because Alan Schreier loved any excuse to attend a party.  Whatever you want to do is fine with me.   Carole

    From Peter A. Kent:

Actually, I had planned to spend that night making love to you.  However, we could go first and then do that afterwards.   I wish to practice some tonight if you do not mind (the love making, I know how to eat).   Had a great time with you last night and this morning by the way.  Getting some work done today, but I do not have the drive I wish I had.  Perhaps some coffee would help.  My feeling is that WE SHOULD go to your family function.   By the way, I love you and I am very fortunate to have you in my life.  Pk

    My ever observant, thoughtful Peter Kent;

You are right in that we SHOULD act civilized and SHOULD invest time into family.  I recognize that this would not be how either of us would prefer to spend an evening and greatly appreciate your perception of the matter.  I know that they are all curious about this man who has made their family member so happy and appreciate that you are comfortable enough in social situations to be there.  You are such a gift.

I wanted you so badly yesterday (and the day before, and the day before...)  Thank you for giving yourself in such a loving manner.  You are such a turn on for me, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  When you reach out to me, with your arms, with your eyes, I feel so secure.  I feel your life force running through my veins and it is a powerful force.  Your embrace both strengthens me and makes me weak in the knees (all the better for kneeling before you).  When you take my hands in prayer, I feel the warmth of God's breath upon us.  It brings tears to my eyes just trying to tell you the depth of my feelings for you.  To say "I love you" seems not enough.  Love, Carole

    From Peter A. Kent

I love that.   We are both so lucky to have found such peace; the connection we have is storybook stuff.  So seldom found, but now so understandable and necessary to feel complete on this planet. Peter Kent

    The Search
I sent Peter Kent a little thing that came via email, called “What women want” and the essence of the statement is that they want to control their own lives, to which Peter Kent answered, “You, my beauty, shall always have your way with me.”  I went with him to post bond today for the no motorcycle endorsement issue and wrote the following while waiting for him to be processed:

    The Search

The Earth stands still when we embrace
Enfolds me in such rapturous state
It stills my racing heart to know
That loving you has been my fate.

    Eternity has come and past
That spanned my search for you in time
And brought me to this moment when
I’d find this peace with you sublime.

    A thousand yesterdays are gone
They matter not in what they were
And though with trials and tears were fraught
In your love I have found the cure.

This moment makes them all worthwhile
For just the touch of your sweet kiss
That warms my lips and heart and soul
    Engulfing me with passion’s bliss.

I drink you in with hungry eyes
To memorize your face and frame
And know without a single doubt
That life will never be the same.

From this day forward all is blessed
The world is ours, the future bright
And all the shadows chased away
As we shine forth with Lover’s light!

We also went to enter him in the Misdemeanor Intervention Program over the shoplifting issue with Publix.  They had not heard that he had just turned himself in on his outstanding warrant and had two officers come to take him into custody.  This whole series of events has been nightmarish for him and it’s been hard to see him trying to free himself of his past in favour of our future.

In the car, on the way home, he said how much he appreciates me being there for him and I could tell he was fighting back tears.  I am deeply touched that my love means so much to him.  In response to the poem he wrote “A thousand yesterdays are gone      They matter not in what they were. That is the best truth.    Each day gets more glorious. “ Peter Kent

    Dear Peter Kent
Waking up with you is the only way I ever want to wake up again.  I love to see the sun come splashing through the open doors onto the bed where you lay.  I love to see the peaceful look on your sleeping face and the way you look at me with so much love and joy in your eyes.  I feel warm and safe in your morning embrace and there is no challenge that awaits me outside our home that I can't handle after a morning of passionate lovemaking with you.  The thrill of your body filling mine is my first cup of emotional coffee.  You are so giving and so loving and I am fortunate to have you at my side, in our bed, and in my heart.  With Love and Thankfulness - Carole

We watched Wolf last night.  I was so impressed that Peter Kent was able to hook up the DVD and the VCR and then operate them.  He is so capable.

12/5/01  I thought about you all day today; it's nice to have something good to focus on when I am doing physical work.   This morning I was listening to some of the songs on the CD 'Message in a Bottle', there was one song that I am sure would have made me cry a few months back, but I felt the emotion and did not.   I wondered why for a few moments, then realized that your love for me is taking away the pain in my past.  Do you have any idea how much you mean to me?   You make me happy below my skin.   Thank you for the things you say to me and do to me; the things you think about, the things you do for me.   I have never felt so loved in my entire life.  We will always share these feelings for each other, I know it in my knower.  - Peter Kent

No, I don't mean THAT experience...    I mean I was sleeping soundly and a loud and gentle voice (a female voice, yours) woke me up at 8:35 by calling my name.   Exactly the time that I wanted to get up, I feel refreshed (ready to do you again this evening; can you handle that?).

I have never been happier in my life, thank you for your love of me.   I will be like this the rest of my life, and better.  - Peter Kent

    Hungry For You
YOU, make me so happy.   YOU are the most complete woman I have ever met.   There is nothing I will not be able to do with the rest of my life; I love you more than I thought was in me; I carry you with me which each moment of the day.   I am truly pleased with my life at this moment in time; we will have numerous moments in time from this point on.  - Pk

    Hungry For You

My life will never be the same
After the fires of passion fanned
By you, the only man whose name
Is etched in stone, in no man’s land

    You touch me deep, on every plain;
From deep within my hungry thighs
With rapture that I could not feign
    Reaching unprecedented highs

To how you fill my hungry soul
    With loving-kindness that you give
That heals my heart and makes me whole
And makes this life so great to live!

    My appetite is whetted by
The very, single, thought of you
And satisfied when you draw nigh
And we are one, where once was two.

Dear Peter Kent,  I rarely ask for anything  (I won’t even ask for directions) but I am asking something of you now, for two reasons.  I wouldn’t bring it up, because it hasn’t happened and perhaps never would, but you have brought it up twice and it seems that you are trying to feel me out on the subject without causing offense.  You have said that in the past you have used marijuana to calm yourself and to expand your vision.

The favour that I ask is that you allow me the opportunity to assist you in both, before resorting to drugs.  The two reasons are both selfish, but you will benefit by them as well.  In every abusive relationship I have been in (and left)  there has been a man who used grass or alcohol to relax or to help him think more broadly.  I can tell you from lots of personal experience that they were never easier to be with when they were high and in every case were much less intellectual.

The second reason is that with every abuse, you change who you are and I love the man I know now.  I don’t want you to be diminished by dying brain cells when it is something that can be avoided.  I know that old habits die hard, but I can be all you will ever need to cope with any situation.  I am not as well educated or as perceptive as you, but I can challenge you to think deeper, to feel more fully and to experience life more abundantly.  I want to be the only drug you need. - Carole

Peter wrote:  I would do anything for you; that as well... You are a blessing to me; you are changing me, broadening me.   I have never known the love I am getting from you.  - pk

One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream.
One tree can start a forest,
    One bird can herald spring.

    One smile begins a friendship,
    One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.

One vote can change a nation,
    One sunbeam lights a room.
    One candle wipes out darkness,
    One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.

One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart can know what's true.
One life can make the difference,
One utterance of I love you.

    Love, Peter Kent

Dear Peter Kent, I am so touched.  No one has ever sent me poetry before.  I was greatly moved by your response to the favour that I asked.  I believe you when you say you would do anything for me and that is so empowering.  I feel strengthened by your love.

Note from the future:  10/29/2020 I searched Peter’s poem to me online and found that he had plagiarized it.  Why am I not surprised that even his poetic words of affection for me were stolen?

    Dear Peter Kent
I am so sorry that my journal entry caused you distress.  I meant for it to do just the opposite.  I wanted you to feel comfortable with my family and to know that if they were stand-offish to you that it had nothing to do with who you are, but only with their own fears.  Their distrust is in my ability to love them and to love someone else.   They can't come out and say that it is me they do not trust or that they fear they will not be needed if I find all I could ever want in someone else.  They probably can't even say it to themselves.  How selfish would it be to admit that you wanted someone to need you so badly that you would wish them a life of dependency on you?  This is the sickness that I meant I didn't even want to think about.

I have spent a life time with these people and I know how they react to anyone who it seems I could be happy with.  I didn't want you to think that they did not accept you for any reason other than the fact that they could see you as making me very happy.  Jamie always felt like I loved Don more than her and I can see why she wouldn't want to feel that way again, but it's part of growing up and moving on, and she will come to know that you can love more than one person and that it is a different sort of love.  It will be an important lesson for her.

I must have made it very clear that I was deeply in love with you and that my happiness was not going to be decided by popular vote.  I told them both that I was involved with you because it is what I want and that it is high time I get what I want out of life.  Even though I was firm on that stance, I went further to let them know that if I am happier, they will find their lives much more enhanced.  Attitudes were far different today.  I suspect they will still be dealing with their fears, at some level, for a while, but time will alleviate those.  I just need you to know that their adjustment to the situation is scary for them and that there is nothing lacking in you.  Love, Carole

From Peter A. Kent:  Thank you for that beautiful explanation.  You are so filling.   I hope that I can fill any doubts you have about what I may feel as well as you just did.  - Peter Kent

Jamie says she doesn’t trust Peter Kent
and my mother has been unusually vocal about her similar feelings.

Jamie says the other volunteers and Daniel Capiro feel the same way.  Jamie broke down in tears today when I told her that I had asked Peter Kent to move in with me.  Everyone thinks he is just using me for my money and that he cares nothing for me personally.  I think my mother pretty much summed it up today when she said, “I wouldn’t worry so much if you were flush right now, but things are really tight and you already have Jamie and your dad and I to support, so I don’t think it is a good idea for you to take on one more mouth to feed.”

Funny that she didn’t mention the cats.  I work the way I do and provide jobs to the family and staff for the benefit of the cats, not for the people.  I pointed out to Jamie that Peter Kent and I have been inseparable since meeting a month ago and her paychecks still come in on time and there is no concern that she is about to lose her job or her security.

She says it isn’t about her, but that she thinks Peter Kent is a fraud and dangerous to me.  I asked how she could say something so definitive about someone she doesn’t even know and she says that any man who would move in with me, two weeks after meeting me, must be a con artist.

I really resent that my closest family finds me so undesirable that they believe a man would only love me for what I could buy him.  I found it hard to accept that they thought that Don was trying to kill me rather than divorce me because of the cost.  We never even spoke seriously of divorce, or in being less than in love for life, but it was so easy for my family to believe that Don could care so little about me as to want me dead.

On occasion they have nearly convinced me.  It is my own family and staff who are concerned that an “intruder” will somehow diminish their income or job stability.  Who is using whom?  This troubles me more than I want to think about it.

Am I so self-centered as to believe that I have more to offer a man than just the fruits of my labour? Is my value all in my bank account?   Am I so egocentric as to believe Peter Kent when he says that I am good for him in so many emotional ways?  I know I am good for him financially.  He doesn’t say it, but I am sure he feels the lack of pressure to support a woman.  Why should that always be the man’s burden?   Was I so blind that I could not see how Don really felt when I took care of him?  Did Don’s cheating on me mean that I was somehow not enough?   I believe that people can be selfish and empty and incapable of being filled, but I am not willing to believe that it is because I am in some way lacking, that every man who crosses my path is that pitifully lost.

I create my own reality and I don’t want a life of being used, betrayed and unappreciated.  I am not willing to create that life for myself by attracting or nurturing a relationship that is bound to end in misery.  Yet I am unwilling to set up a barricade about myself to keep all potential heartbreak at bay.  It would be less of a risk for me to love Peter Kent at a distance, but I won’t construct a wall between us.  (I originally said, “can’t” but that is incorrect.  I can do anything, it ‘s just a matter of what I will or won’t choose to do) I am healed by his loving touch.  I am relieved by his ability to ease my pain; whether it be his hand on the small of my back, his ability to be strong and let me cry, his incomparable capability as a lover or his knowledge of what my body needs to be strong and healthy.  To distance myself from him emotionally is to lose much of what makes all of these sensations so powerful.  I see no good reason to deprive myself that way.

As for my family, they don’t know Peter Kent, so their reservations about him are without basis.  All they know are their own fears and I can’t hold that against them.  If I were dependent on someone else for my security I might act the same w

I am about to leave to get a bite to eat, however, I wanted to tell you:
You looked so pretty at the gate this morning as you left.  Everything about you inspires me to do good, to do right, to go for my dream of helping many with health care problems.  This may well be started in this coming month, at least with a trip to Jacksonville with you to visit with my computer guru person.   I need your feedback there since you have more experience there than do I.  I believe with what he has in mind, what you have in mind and with what I have it will be perfect and effective and fun.

I wish to tell you that I am perfectly at peace right now other than being hungry.   This location on the earth with you is a powerful one for me because of it's privacy and the things that surround my pee-pee twice daily.

You Carole are the most important thing in my life, I hope you understand.  No one could be sweeter or more perfect than you.  I enjoyed last night listening to music a great deal.

Dear Peter Kent, I am so touched by your sweetness, your gentleness and your abounding love.  I am beyond words with the emotions you fill me with.  You are the center of my universe and I look forward to exploring more of it with you.  Last night was magical... I am deeply indebted to you.

This morning I told my mother about the alligator dream and she thinks it represents the fact that I would not accept Don back into my life if he were to show up on the door step tomorrow.  That has been a huge fear of mine; that despite what I know now about him, I would take him back because I was so in love with him.  I have hated myself for even thinking that I would, and yet, at some level fearing that I would.  I told her she may be right because no man could ever compare to you and no man would ever be enough for me after loving you.  Love, Carole

Please think about sex once in a while today.   I am getting into a routine of putting you to sleep and waking you up.  If it is too much ever, just say so.   It's a loving thing.  Love, Peter Kent

    My Love in the Morning
Peter Kent wanted me to tow his truck 53 miles to have the transmission replaced, but I insisted he find some other way, as my truck is not capable of that sort of abuse.  I came home to help him find a way and bring phone books because he didn’t want to spend the 1.00 directory assistance.  While waiting for him I cleaned up the mess from making the desk on Thanksgiving and the porches.  I sent him the following poem, then Jamie and I went to work out, and shopped for towels and some clothes at the new Burlington.  Peter Kent went out and bought us some CD’s to play on his system as a celebration of our moving in together.  This was the poem and his response to the poem:

    My Love in the Morning

Dawn makes its presence known complete
Though comes in quiet on cat feet
The sunlight filters through the shade
Upon the bed wherein we laid

It's gentle rays, so soft and meek
Steal their kisses upon your cheek
And I'm inclined to do the same
With passion for you I can't tame

I gently touch your supple skin
And yearn to feel you deep within
I think of pleasures that you store
With fond remembrance, more and more

    I feel this overwhelming need
To straddle you, my virile steed
And ride you till I feel the rush
That causes me to outward blush

And then collapse upon your chest
Full knowing that I've had the best
    Content in every single way
Till morn shall bring another day

If ever, anyone had more than they deserve, it is I.  Thank you my poetess, my rider of the steed, my roommate, my love.   You are a blessing each day that I spend with you.  I am amazed at the things you get done even when you are not getting anything done.   Truly we will have a great life.   Thanks. -

    A Strong Foundation
I am in awe of you, my love
In starstruck wonder, I stand still
And thank my Lord and God above
For making you; a dream turned real

I marvel at the Craftsman’s skill
That you possess in all you do
    Reflective of Creative Will
That God put into making you

You shape the world in which you live
Whether it be decks, desks or chairs
Or in the healing love you give
That makes me to forget all cares

A strong foundation you have laid
And though the roses fade away
The impact on my heart you’ve made
Stays with me, forward, from this day!

Truly, if you consider who we are individually, how we met and the speed at which we knit together, it is truly an answer to prayer, a creation of ours that we have wished for for much of our lives.  You, the lady of great character, make me very happy, appreciated, useful and with a power to get onto the future in a meaningful and worthwhile way.   I am VERY grateful for who you are, there is nothing that gets past you.  We will share sooo much in the years to come.

I got a very nice note from my son this morning.  That just makes all that I feel about where I have landed even better.  It is a wonderful feeling to know that my kids are doing the best and are happy with themselves.  Love, Peter Kent

I've been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views.  If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story.  The titles are the dates things happened. If you have any interest in who I really am please start at the beginning of this playlist: http://savethecats.org/

I know there will be people who take things out of context and try to use them to validate their own misconception, but you have access to the whole story.  My hope is that others will recognize themselves in my words and have the strength to do what is right for themselves and our shared planet.

I'm looking for someone to spend time with on a frequent basis. My spirit will know her when we meet. I wish to be captivated by her face and frame; I want to be comforted by her judgment; I want to feel electricity when we touch; I wish to see depth in her eyes. I wish for her parents to have blessed her with a good upbringing; I wish that she love them very much and have a history of warmth from them. I want that she have joy in her heart, confidence on her face, sexuality in her movement, elegance in her serenity. I wish to feel power from her femininity, strength from her reverence. I want that she be capable of great love and I hope to be a blend of her character.

Me, I have a child's heart but the strength of many men. I have the character of experience and faith from many endeavors. I have ability to see the 'big picture'; I am a deep thinker. I have cried when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance yet I can muster courage in an instant. I pursue growth on a daily basis, I have a renaissance outlook. I wish to leave a mark that will benefit humanity; in this I am in development. I have been blessed by God with the power to help. I love the very young, the very old and the ill. I have great joy, kindness and sensitivity within; I wish to know love again.

Dear Peter Kent,  You make time for what is important.  I was so impressed with your profile that I wondered, if you wrote it yourself, or if you hired a marketing guru.  I liked that you spoke of things that are important, such as the relationships we have with our family.  I have been exceedingly blessed with a wonderful family.  My father was self employed most of his life and when he retired he came here to Easy Street to help me out by building the most incredible cages, complete with waterfalls, ponds and lots of things for busy cats to do.  He's been working here since 1996.  My mother was a legal secretary and then personnel manager for a large company for 19 years.  I kept trying to hire her away, but her loyalty was to her company until there was a huge split in the company that left her working for the wrong boss.  She then agreed to come work in my real estate business in 1998 and she makes my life so much easier now.  I can count on her good judgment and she treats the business like it was her own, so that gives me peace of mind that I didn't have for the first 15 years of my business.

Your description of your desire to make a difference and the knowledge that it is God who guides us through gives me confidence that you are the kind of man I would like very much to know.  For the cats, Carole

From Peter:  Carole, I wish to spend some time answering your considerate note.  Somehow, after having moved here three days ago, I thought today was Wednesday.   I am not that intense that I loose days, but I have been busy and juggling ideas in my head.  It is somewhat of a surprise to me that I could/would do that; I am laughing at myself somewhat.

Your description tells a little about you, mine is somewhat void of who I am, more of what I want.  I feel that who we are comes out in being together; I do not mean to say that I will be saying who I am, more of where I am.

Yes, I wrote that little bio.  I
