We are Cat & Cloud Coffee. Started by three friends trying to pursue their passions, with Integrity and intentionally, and it’s our mission to inspire connection, by creating memorable experiences.

We're a small independent business and this is our story.

In 2022 during an origin trip to Honduras, I learned that connecting with others can happen no matter how many words are said.

I was disconnected from everything I’d ever known, yet was brought back from a dark place by just a tap on the shoulder.

This is a special short story by Wiser, he’s been the first guest at every one of our cafes and our Marketing Team Lead.

We’re answering a guest question today!

This week on the podcast the guys are answering questions about stepping back once you’ve started your business. How to communicate with and trust your team to run things so that you as an owner can work “on” rather than “in” your business.

Listen to the full episode to hear their thoughts on setting expectations, finding the middle ground, trusting yourself and accepting the inevitable missteps.

We’re making them talk about coffee! Since restarting the podcast, we’ve known that we didn’t want to just be a “Coffee Podcast.” But why? This week Chris and Jared sit down to talk about all things coffee; how it has influenced them and their careers, what it means to them now, and why they want to do more than share coffee advice.

Listen to the full episode to hear more about how they are allowing “Hot Delicious (hopefully) Brown Water” to inform, but not drive the lessons they hope to teach.

Which came first the Mission or the Company?

This week the guys are answering questions about the why’s and how’s of starting Cat & Cloud and creating the mission statement. Chris and Jared sat down this week to walk us through the inspirations behind our current mission statement, and how the desire to have a company that is guided by a common goal motivated them to create it for themselves.

Watch the full video to hear more about how their “living mission” has helped create the strong company culture Cat & Cloud is known for.

We are so committed. The Cat & Cloud podcast is officially back!

This week Chris and Jared hopped on the mic to discuss what they’ve learned about their business over the last six years, the challenges they were surprised by when getting started, and what they believe is crucial for new owners starting out.

The biggest lesson they take away is how important it is to be committed to the work, and passionate about what you do despite it being hard work. You have to know that the work your do and put in now will lead and set you up to greater things.

Listen to the episode to hear more about how their “learners mindset” has helped them stay true to their original mission, and continue growing and adapting.

We’re getting the band back together! Chris and Jared will be picking up right where they left off: bringing you their thoughts and insights and sharing everything we wish we knew when we were first getting started. But this time we want to hear from you! We want to give you the opportunity to guide the conversation.

So if there is something that you want to know more about, or hear our thoughts on, go to catandcloud.com/podcast or send us an email at [email protected], and let us know!
