Ava Hennessy was sexually assaulted two years ago, and while it wasn't an easy decision to report what happened to the gardai, she ultimately decided it was the right thing to do. Now, she's keen to share her experience of the legal system as a victim of sexual assault, and why she found it disappointing but ultimately doesn't regret the choice she made.
TW: We do not discuss the details of Ava's sexual assault but obviously there is mention of it throughout.
