You may be tough. But are you Caterina Sforza tough? (Probably not)
Caterina Sforza was an Italian noblewoman, political leader, and military leader who lived during the Renaissance. She was born in 1463 in Forlì and was the daughter of Galeazzo Maria Sforza, the Duke of Milan, and Lucrezia Landriani. She was known for her intelligence, strength and courage, and was a powerful leader in her own right.
At the age of sixteen, Caterina was married off to Girolamo Riario, the nephew of Pope Sixtus IV, and became the Lady of Imola and Forlì. After Girolamo's assassination, Caterina was forced to take up arms to defend her lands and fought against the French and their allies. She was well-known for her bravery and skill in warfare and even managed to capture the Castle of Ravaldino.
Caterina was also known for her intelligence and cunning; she was a master negotiator and diplomat, and was able to influence many political events throughout her life. She was even said to have poisoned her enemies on occasion!
Caterina Sforza was an impressive figure in the Renaissance and a great example of a strong, intelligent woman who made her mark on history. She was a leader in her own right and an inspiration to many.
