Christian O’Connell is braver than your average radio presenter. Most British DJs would’ve baulked at the idea of travelling across the world to Australia, a market where no one knows them, and starting from scratch. But not Christian.

Given the roaring success that is The Christian O’Connell Show, it’s safe to say the gamble paid off. But the sailing hasn’t been so smooth down under. It wasn’t all that long ago that a freshly migrated Christian faced resistance from some Aussie listeners who felt his voice had been “forced” upon them.
