These are some of the questions we answer today with Dr. Tawny Kross, a chronic pain specialist and coach. We discuss the importance of interoception: a concept that means understanding and feeling what is going on in your own body. This is a crucial concept for my coaching clients to learn. Dr. Kross points out the many other parallels there are in her practice and my nutrition coaching practice.
Like many specialities, we are discovering that healing involves much more than taking a pill. Dr. Kross's knowledge and breadth of expertise includes nutrition, hypnosis, guided imagery, mindfulness, pain neuroscience education, breathwork, mind-body practices and more.
