Ever wanted to know what it’s like to start a watch magazine, but were too afraid to ask?
Join the boys to find out in this latest episode, as they get the scoop on Niclas  Berglund from Bezl Magazine, the owner, editor, and photographer for the up-and-coming online watch enthusiasts’ magazine which focuses on the storytelling of watch collectors, and why they own and love their watches.

Originally a Swedish TV journalist, covering dangerous conflicts and war zones in the Middle East, Niclas gives an insight into why watches are so special to him and why he felt the need to be more involved in the watch community. Listen in to discover the ins and outs of getting an online watch magazine started, the challenges faced when finding the stories to write about, and of course, covering some of the finest timepieces in the world. Did Niclas really cover Jay-Z and his amazing Patek Philippe 2499 in his first issue?

In true CP7 form, the boys get to know the man behind the editorial and camera, and uncover his love for MB&F, as well as Rolex, Tudor, Cartier, and why independent brands are becoming his true passion.

Back by popular demand, CP7 goes unplugged and unedited one more time. So what is on their wishlists? Has Andy got a new itch for Tudor, is the Rolex at risk? Talking of Tudor did Parm really say he's warming to the new Tudor Ranger?! There's only one way to find out.
Budget, plays an important role in any watch purchase, and where can you find a good price and high quality in one go? Could it be Seiko? It is a brand loved by many and looked down on by some but nobody can deny its versatility. Find out the boys' take on that most posing of questions.
Is vintage Cartier another genre worth looking into and why is the Omega Speedmaster said to be the most important watch ever made?
So buckle up and enjoy the ride, and most importantly enjoy this very special unplugged edition.

  • Ep #27: The Credor Locomotive - Genta’s Guilty Pleasure?

Don't forget to check out the show notes on our new website for a visual experience:
    www.chronopassion7.com

Gérald Genta is a name that needs no introduction to any watch enthusiast the world over.  His designs have shaped the luxury watch world over the last few decades with iconic watch designs such as the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Omega Constellation, amongst many others.
This show was inspired by the recent reissue of the Credor Locomotive to mark the 50th anniversary of the luxury Japanese watch brand usually associated with Seiko. But did you know that it was Genta who designed it? Ironically for one of the brands that had led to the quartz crisis which had crippled his beloved Swiss watch industry. So, as it says in the title was this his guilty pleasure? Find out as the CP7 boys give their thoughts on this very polarising design, and what it really meant to Genta.
Of course, it's not a CP7 show without a challenge and today the guys pick their favourite 3 Genta pieces outside of the obvious Royal Oak and Nautilus.
Brace yourselves for an exciting announcement too as the podcast evolves into Phase 2 of its roadmap which can hopefully take the pod to a whole new level.
So buckle up and enjoy the ride for an unforgettable show about the Maestro himself, Gérald Genta, and our own very special news.
