Debbie Critchfield is the State Superintendent of Education and came in to speak about the effects of closing the Federal Department of Education. Many programs coming from that department are utilized by many Idaho families, and there was a large concern amongst Idahoans that this closure would delay or completely stop some of these programs. Superintendent Critchfield came in to explain what we can expect. Enjoy!

The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
