  • Dottie Caylor

By all accounts, 41-year-old Dottie Caylor suffered from a near debilitating phobia of public places and spent most all of her time at home. So, when her soon-to-be ex-husband reported that she had asked him to drive her to a very public, crowded train station so she could travel to visit a friend, the story raised eyebrows. When Dottie failed to ever return, suspicions continued to grow.

  • Special Feed Drop Featuring Curious Cousins

From Jess and Tiff from Curious Cousins:

Roger Dale Stafford or Sirloin Stockade Murders

What a doozy for our first True Crime episode! It's TIFFerific or TIFFtastic (which sounds better?)! Tiff dives into the life and crimes of Roger Dale Stafford and the Sirloin Stockade Murders. This guy, his wife, and probably his brother, were pure EVIL. This episode isn't for the faint of heart! Just be warned...listener discretion is advised for our younger listeners. The book Tiff constantly references is Oklahoma's Most Notorious Cases by Kent Frates. Don't forget to like and follow us!

  • E205: The Ammons Family Haunting/ The Demon House

The Ammons family, including mother Latoya Ammons, her three children (two boys aged  7 and 9 and a girl, age 12– their names have never been released), and Latoya’s mother (Rosa Campbell) moved into a rental home located at 3860 Carolina Street in Gary, Indiana in November 2011. It seemed ideal for the family…but it wasn’t long after the Ammons moved in that bizarre things began happening. You see, this week’s case is one of a woman and her family who have publicly proclaimed that their home (if not themselves as well) was possessed by a demonic entity– or, in this case, upwards of 200 demons. Was this a true case of possession or was it all a hoax?

  • The Murder of Jessica Briggs and Conviction of Anthony Sanborn Part 2

On May 24th, 1989, the body of 16-year-old Jessica Briggs was pulled from the waters of Casco Bay in Portland, Maine. For some time afterward there were no names suspects; that is, until law enforcement honed in on Briggs’ ex-boyfriend— Anthony Sanborn, also 16. Despite the fact that no forensic evidence from the scene matched Sanborn, there were three witness statements that would seem to provide motive AND put him at the scene. Based upon those statements, although Sanborn continued to state his innocence, he was convicted. Decades later, with the Innocence Project involved, a new investigation was launched and Sanborn was granted a post-conviction hearing. What private investigator Kevin Cady uncovered would turn everything on its head. Join me as I go through the case piece-by-piece with Bob Motta, host of Defense Diaries and co-host of The Docket.

Special thanks to Kevin Cady for allowing me to interview him for our coverage. Your insight and expertise were invaluable.
