Joining Florence and Reed in the studio is the brilliant Jermaine Agyako. Football may be the nation’s favourite game but has the tendency to take itself a little seriously. In steps Jermaine Agyako, one-quarter of CheekySport, who collectively are here to inject some much-needed bants, laughter and fun to the sport while creating a diverse and accepting community of amongst its fans. Alongside CheekySport, Jermaine also hosts a show on both the London-based community music station Rinse FM and presents a video series for GRM. He’s a regular face on BBC 5 live and writes for various publications, transferring fluidly from project to project.

Joining Florence & Reed in the studio this week is Lee Le. Born in New York City in 1987, and being half Vietnamese and half Chinese, Lee Chau Le was raised mostly in the vastly diverse area of East London with both of his parents working long hours to provide for him and his siblings. This meant that Lee had to learn to cook from the young age of 8. Now based in East London, Brick Lane, Lee Chau Le's outstanding food can be found across London. His menu is inspired by his upbringing and cultural influences and so each dish is created with genuine love, passion and years of hard work. Let's his stories are as spicy as his food...

And also scripts audio stories for Dipsea, an app-based subscription platform for short-form erotica.She speaks about why sex positivity needs championing for Decolonising Contraception, a not-for-profit, community interest group formed by people of colour, working within sexual and reproductive health. She is a Sexual Health Education Facilitator, with Sexplain, an independent organisation which run inclusive and comprehensive sex ed workshops in schools around the UK.

Joining Florence and Reed in the studio for a special Asexuality Awareness episode is the wonderful Yasmin Benoit. Yasmin is a British fashion model and asexuality activist. She knew she was aromantic-asexual from a young age, but didn’t come out publicly until 2017, when she decided to use her platform to raise awareness and dispel misconceptions about asexuality.
Ace Week (founded as Asexual Awareness Week in 2010) is an annual event that puts asexuality in the spotlight. Part celebration of the progress we’ve made as a community, and part campaign for greater understanding and acceptance of asexual-spectrum identities, Ace Week is a time to focus on all things ace.
