In this episode of The She Said It First Podcast, hosts Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae discuss a variety of topics, but first Lynee’ and Jerrilyn tell the fans What Irritated Them This Week. Lynee’ has a message for all of the unpretty people that are commenting in her DMs, don’t. After telling the people what irritated them this week, they got into Dr. Umar Johnson and the possibility of him being a deadbeat dad. A 22-year-old woman claims that Dr. Umar is her father and that he has never been in her life. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ speak about Dr. Umar speaking up for the black community but not living what he preaches by not taking care of his children.  

At Southern University, 20-year-old Caleb Wilson passed away due to hazing while pledging Omega Psi Phi. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discussed the issues with the Divine 9 fraternities and sororities at HBCUs losing their way. The host spoke about brotherhood and sisterhood should not be determined by hitting each other. They also spoke about rapper Doechii and how she thinks that straight men are a red flag to her. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn talked about the patriarchy being the issue, not straight men. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talked about dating and when is the right time for you to pay bills in a relationship.
