Jeff Foster was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has taught Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida since 2001. His first book, "For Which We Stand" was written to help young readers learn about government and understand how they can make an impact even if they aren't old enough to vote.
