Welcome to episode 89 of Coon Hunting Confidential!
 Every other Wednesday, The HT Mafia mixes their uniqueness, coon hunting, comedy, and creepy stories to bring you all-new episodes of CHC!   

This episode goes back about three years to Autumn Oaks in Indiana. Mr. Randy Bell told the fellas a story about a terrifying encounter he had one night while coon hunting in Sherwood Forest, West Virginia. Mr. Randy is a seasoned coon hunter who mostly hunts Blueticks. For a while, it looked like his story might never get recorded for the public to hear. Thankfully, Mr. Randy agreed to come on the show to talk about coon hunting and his creepy encounters.

That experience shook Randy so badly that he now feels he has to see this thing face-to-face before he dies. This is one of the best stories ever recorded on this podcast. The fellas hope you enjoy it as much as they did—because this conversation is an absolute banger!

His family owns some land that's been in the family since the Revolutionary War. There's a very unique history on that track of land that even includes a murdered lady by the water well. This episode is very unique for a Coon Hunting Confidentials episode. In episode 87, the fellas had a conversation with Trent, one of Dustin's old friends. Trent is originally from South Carolina but currently resides in Missouri. Trent is a former Marine and has only been coon hunting for a few years. What makes this episode so unique is that he talks about an encounter he had while stationed in Yemen. He talks about a dark paranormal event that happened in the basement of a Middle Eastern mud brick hotel. This story is wild and a must hear!!!

He had a friend reach out to the show because of something strange that happened to him a few weeks ago while coon hunting. He even made a video of it. What happened when he leashed the dog up and walked away was even weirder! He lives in an area that used to have a heavy Native American population, so of course they had to about artifacts. This was an awesome conversation that you should tune in to hear!

OH! There were some parts in the intro that had to be edited out so please forgive us for that. Daniel tried to make the convo flow as best as possible with those edited out parts. Even with the edits, this episode is still a banger!

The beginning of this episode may be a little sad. An Important member of the Hounds Tooth Mafia passed on 5/12/25. Daniel tells the story of what happened to Echo. No doubt she'll be missed forever! After the intro, the fellas get into a conversation with Aaron from Washington state. They had a strange event happen at a 2-day field trial where all of a sudden, all the dogs shut up at once. The even crazier part happened the next day. We hope y'all enjoy this episode. There's lots of laughs, and it came at a time when Daniel needed to laugh!

 This episode features a conversation with a coon hunter from Kentucky. Even though his name remains confidential, his story isn't! He heard something one night, not too long ago, that kept him up all night trying to match the noise with animals on YouTube videos. The encounter also happened near a Sasquatch hot spot in Kentucky. The noise he heard that night is a weird, deep, guttural howl.  There’s a sound clip at the end that you don’t want to miss!  It will make you wonder what it could be.
