Here's a crazy simple recipe that has a magic ingredient that will help you love your salads. The key is the freshly toasted sesame seeds.
Toasted Sesame Salad (serves one)
- 2 cups of leafy greens
- 1/2 cup of any other veggies
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
- Your favorite salad dressing
Directions: Place sesame seeds into a dry sautee pan on medium-high heat. While you are chopping your veggies keep an eye on your sesame seeds and turn off the heat when they are browned. Place chopped veggies in a bowl, add dressing, and top with your freshly toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
