Cousins on Crime

Christ Community Church, was an evangelical church located on Bainbridge Island in Washington state. In December of 1997, the church community hit a sweet spot. Many of the congregants were having babies at the same time and raising kids around the same age. For Dawn Hacheney and her husband, Nick, they believed they were right where they needed to be. But early one morning, underneath the pines and walkable hometown roads, lurked something really dark; festering in the last place anyone would ever expect it.

But in December of 1990, their place of serenity and peace would be forever changed by two men that had recently escaped a halfway house.

Jennifer Snyder was working as a veterinary technician in 2011; eager to welcome her first child in the fall of that year. Sadly, the father of Jen's baby wasn't ready for such a change, because... he was married to someone else. He'd fashioned such a tangled web of lies and deceit over the years, that he only saw one way out of the mess he'd created.

April 3, 1985 rocked the upper-middle class community of Boonsboro, Virginia when a couple was found brutally butchered in their home.
