Montana will require them in counties with 4 or more cases. Walmart, Kohl’s and Kroger will require masks be worn in their stores nationwide. Oklahoma set a new daily case record Wednesday with 1,075 reported. The Governor of Oklahoma has tested positive for the virus, he is experiencing mild symptoms and will work from home. At least 136 service members stationed on a base in Okinawa, Japan have tested positive. It is one of the largest outbreaks in the military. Virginia will implement statewide workplace safety standards, including notifying all employees within 24 hours if a co-worker tests positive. The Governor of Connecticut has asked the National Guard to remain in the state through the end of the year to help with the pandemic. Pasadena California has cancelled the 2021 Rose Parade. New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art will reopen at the end of August. Two recent studies have found that blood type does not play a role in contracting the virus or the severity of a case.
