Episode #43 ~ Daniela Ricceli ~ How Yoga can Assist Addiction Recovery and Mental Illness
I am very pleased to introduce you to Daniela Riccelli. Check out her bio below:
My name is Daniela Riccelli. I have dedicated my life to movement; is part of who I am. I danced professionally for many years and after several body injuries, I found a passion for yoga. I graduated as an Engineer in Venezuela. Later in life, after learning how to heal my own trauma and addiction, my purpose became to help others heal. I have 2 Masters degrees; one in addiction and one as a clinical social worker. In my current Doctoral studies, my research is focused on movement in the healing of trauma which generally is underlying addiction, other mental health issues, and physical ailments. Yoga and movement have been the basis of my healing journey. I invite you to try it as well.
