Daniele was born in Milan, Italy in a family of writers. After high school he moved to Los Angeles
and attended Santa Monica College and later graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Anthropology.

When he was 20 he co-authored his first book, he then co-Authored 2 more books and his first solo
book was published when he was 22.

He Currently teaches at a couple of universities and hosts 2 podcasts:
History on Fire and The Drunken Taoist.

You have seen or heard him as a guest of other popular podcasters like Joe Rogan, Adam Carolla and more.

He has been training in martial arts for over 32 years.
